Amusing and Disappointing

Realizing that you're sad because you're alone is both an amusing and disappointing feeling.

Amusing, because you realize that you are still capable of actually feeling sad because of solitude--just when you were about to pass yourself off as someone who just don't care anymore.

Disappointing, because you then decide that you want to be alone. You need to be resilient enough to embrace the fact that you're, well, alone.

So I'd rather feel disappointed. Because, really, in the end, I just want to know that I can do "this" all by myself.
